Haven't tried it unfortunately - back in 2005 when we looked at licensing, we came to the conclusion that we might as well do it ourselves. But having a proper open source solution would be better, easier to audit and better collaboration.
I am currently writing documentation and the product needs an admin dashboard so that things can be managed outside of the API, a la Stripe.
