If you're really worried about creating the foundation first, shouldn't you be teaching kids that SS0+SS0=SSSS0?


Did I not just spend an entire paragraph explaining how I'm not worried about teaching children the true foundations first, and consider it impractical?


It was in parenthesis, so I didn't see it due to Lisp-related emotional trauma.

Now that I know you're not in favor of it, though, I'm perversely inclined to wonder if a sufficiently skilled teacher might not introduce young tykes to ZFC; and what sort of mathematicians that might produce in another few decades.
