Don't use PGP if in a life or death situation. Once someone steals the key you're going to be really screwed because all the emails you thought were so private are suddenly not private at all.
That's true in a practical sense of all encrypted messaging solutions, but the other ones have the added hazard of routinely being insecure even when you don't accidentally leak your key.
